Here's a gallery of some of the custom electronics products we have
built. Today, there is not as much call for custom hardware, as so many
functions can now be implemented in software with the appropriate interfaces
and DSP. However it is still a useful skill and with current modern rapid
prototyping technology, our custom products are ever more professional and
reliable.

IR remodulator: Not a particularly attractive
box, but it solved a problem for me on a recent job. This goodie takes a
demodulated TTL Signal off the back of a Plasma display and modulates a
40Khz carrier with it, making a compatible signal to work with the rest of
the IR controls on the project. The problem solved: plasma IR radiation
interferes with standard IR repeaters. By using the IR receiver in the
plasma itself, it's totally immune. |

Synth Driver. Originally designed as a custom
interface for several studios including Walter Afanasieff, we subsequently
developed it as a standard product in the Signal Transport line, where it
is still
available and has been further improved. |

Audio Cassette dupe box. We built several of
these for Disney and packaged them with machines. It handled source
distribution and monitoring functions. |
